This story here, as usual again is about a girl. It was when I was in something 9th or 10th grade when this incident took place. We had a free lecture, and at that moment “Truth ‘n Dare” was kind-of too popular in the school. Actually it was 2nd most popular thing, ranking just after the legendary “Pen fighting”; a game where the contestants take turns to strike their pens with their fingers in attempt to be the lone survivor on the platform. But somehow that day, despite playing again that mainstream game, we took off for “Truth ‘n Dare”. And that is when I had an unforgettable moment with my ‘then-crush’. I hope you enjoy this small rhyme taking you off in the past…..
Darta tha tumse karne ko baat,
Qismat se hui “Truth ‘n Dare” dwaara shuruaat.
Bhola bhala sa ladka tha main,
Dikhne main bhi seedha saadha sa tha main.
Phati padi thi jab ayi meri baari,
Socha ladki ab ye utarvayegi ab izzat saari.
Aur vakayi main b kiya usne kaam aisa,
Bura haal kar dene wala jaisa.
Pooch liya ki, “be tera crush hai kispe?
Ispe, uspe ya wo baaju wali p?”
Jawab tha mera vaise usi ka naam,
batau use kaise samaj na aye samaadhan.
Upar se mahan shaksiyat puche jaye baar baar,
Aur sochne ka time na de har baar.
Gusse aur sharma k akhirkaar bol hi dala uska naam,
muskura kr boli, “Saale itna mushkil tha ye kaam……?”
